EEA Presents “Ethereum in Finance – A View from Singapore” Virtual Event

SINGAPORE — Nov. 10, 2021 — The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) today announced Ethereum in Finance – A View from Singapore – a free, virtual event presented by the EEA on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. SGT (GMT+8). The event will feature a panel and audience Q&A to explore Ethereum in Finance in Singapore from the viewpoint of several noted finance experts from ConsenSys, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Standard Chartered Bank.

“We are thrilled to have DBS Digital Exchange’s Daniel Lee host a moderated discussion with our guest experts from ConsenSys, MAS and Standard Chartered on the strength of the use cases of Ethereum and digital assets in the Singapore region,” said EEA Executive Director Dan Burnett. “The growing institutional and community support of Ethereum and growth of DeFi and NFTs means that banking definitions and the regulatory picture in Southeast Asia and China are continuously evolving.  The panel will help educate attendees on how to balance technical innovation and monetary/financial stability as we head into 2022.”

WHEN: November 18, 9:00 a.m. SGT (GMT+8), with a 50-minute moderated discussion, followed by a 20-minute Q&A period. Please note this is 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on November 17 for U.S. attendees.
