As an EEA member, Edge & Node is part of the EEA community of organizations working to advance Ethereum and drive industry adoption. In the Q&A below, the EEA interviewed Edge & Node’s Kyle Rojas, Business Development and Partnerships, about how the organization contributes to the ecosystem to help Ethereum reach its full potential.
Please introduce yourself and your company briefly.
We create and support protocols and dApps that empower individuals and move humanity forward. I run business development and partnerships for Edge & Node, the initial team behind The Graph, an indexing protocol for organizing blockchain data and making it easily accessible. The Graph is an indexing protocol for querying networks like Ethereum and IPFS, with 32 chains integrated from across the Web3 landscape. Anyone can build and publish open APIs, called subgraphs, making data easily accessible. The Graph will allow the world to iteratively move to a more decentralized future. As an EEA member, Edge & Node can collaborate with EEA and its members, the leading business adopters, innovators and leaders within the Ethereum ecosystem, on Ethereum advancements, like The Graph, that are accelerating the pace of Ethereum business advancements and adoption.
What first brought you to the EEA, and why did you decide to become a member?
The EEA’s mission of enabling businesses to adopt and use Ethereum technology aligns with ours. We are working to enable the world to build better APIs and dApps that will enhance businesses, lives, and human interactions at large. The Edge & Node team will have the opportunity to participate in business events such as Ethereum in the Enterprise and EEA’s Educational Series, which bring together the top Ethereum and global business leaders, technologists, and industry experts to learn about Ethereum’s latest business and technical innovations.
How will the EEA enhance your organization’s current efforts?
EEA’s working groups, such as CrossChain Interoperability, Ethereum Training Quality and others, and interest groups, such as DeFi, Eth2 for the Enterprise, Ethereum Mainnet and others, provide important touchpoints for our team to help our team stay informed on Ethereum advancements. In turn, our network includes thousands of developers working on more than 1,000 projects on over 50 chains, so we are also in a position to be a super-connector to help communicate our advancements back to the broader EEA membership and Ethereum business community at large.
