EEA to Lead Devcon4 Presentation and Breakout Session, Unveil the Next Stage of its Enterprise Ethereum Client Specification Roadmap and Sponsor a Hackathon.

PRAGUE — Oct. 22, 2018– The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) today announced that the 550-member organization will be an Olympic Sponsor at the Ethereum Foundation’s flagship developer conference, Devcon4, Oct. 30 – Nov. 2, 2018, at the Prague Congress Center. At Devcon, the EEA will lead an educational breakout session and hold interactive discussions covering the most current Enterprise Ethereum advances, coming innovations, and real-world use cases. Following Devcon, attendees are invited to the PegaSys Hackathon, sponsored by the EEA.

With more than 3,000 attendees expected at Devcon4, the conference will enable enterprises to learn from EEA members about the continuous evolution of the organization’s Enterprise Ethereum standards work, rapidly growing Ethereum developer ecosystem, certification program, and availability of talent.

Join the EEA for its track titled “How Can the EEA Interoperate with the Public Ethereum Chain EIP Process?” EEA Technical Standards Working Group Chair, Conor Svensson, founder and CEO of BLK.IO, will lead the interactive breakout session. He’ll discuss how the organization is working to ensure a general confluence happens between the public Ethereum network and the private enterprise blockchain network, including potential EEA features that will be taken back into code for the public Ethereum blockchain in the form of Ethereum improvement proposals (EIPs).

The EEA is proud to be an official sponsor of PegaSys Ethereum Hackathon, a free, two-day, event taking place right after Devcon4. PegaSys, a ConsenSys company and EEA member, will lead the two-day Ethereum hackathon, dedicated to generating novel idea for enterprise Ethereum-based blockchain solutions and services. The EEA’s Executive Director, Ron Resnick, will present on the EEA, while Conor Svensson, the EEA Technical Specification Committee Chair, will be on hand to mentor teams. Teams will get a chance to compete for $1,000 and $5,000 prizes.
